New Co-op Developments

We are all very much looking forward to our new co-op being built and want to make sure that everyone is aware of the plans. There will be a bit of upheaval over the coming months but a new building that meets the needs of our community should be open by next summer.

Key dates:

  • Saturday 9th August- Co-op store and car park close

  • Monday 11th August- Work begins on a temporary store. This will take 5-6 weeks.

  • Monday 11th August- Keir Street road closure for drainage connection.

  • Tuesday 26th August- BT Openreach works (likely pavement closure only)

  • Monday 8th September- Main works commence
